What a Notary Public does is witness the signing of the documents and asks each party for a sworn oath of authenticity. A Mobile Notary (or a Notary Public) is a person legally authorized by a state to administer oaths, take acknowledgments & certify documents. The Notary Public must ensure that the person signing a document to be notarized is who she/he  says she/he is. Because identities are critical, a Notary Public may also spend some time verifying the names, verifies the identity of the parties. The signature and seal/stamp are evidence that the  person is a Notary Public The Notary Public seal shall either be a seal press or a rubber stamp. These shall be the exclusive property of the Notary Public. A Notary Public signature and seal is required to authenticate the signatures on many legal documents 

All Parties Must Be Present
At time of appointment all signing parties and documents to be notarized must be present. Should the notary be required to wait more than 15 minutes beyond the scheduled appointment time an Excess Wait Time fee will be charged.
